Redefining Travel: Respect, Empowerment, and Building a Legacy Beyond Borders 

My name is Ticc, and my journey is a testament to the power of transformation. It's a story that spans from the challenging streets of Wichita, Kansas, to the vibrant cultures of countries around the globe. It's a story about overcoming adversity, finding purpose, and dedicating myself to empowering others. 

From Hardship to Hope 

My early life was defined by the harsh realities of poverty and gang involvement. I was a member of the Crips in Wichita and spent time in prison for selling drugs. This period of my life was a dark chapter, filled with mistakes and consequences. However, it was also a crucial turning point. I realized I needed to change, not just for myself, but for the future I wanted to create. 

A New Path: Discovering the World 

After my release, I committed myself to self-improvement and a complete change of direction. I discovered the transformative power of travel. I began traveling internationally, often finding myself as the only Black man on the plane, especially in first class. This experience opened my eyes to a world beyond my previous limitations. I immersed myself in different cultures, learned to navigate unfamiliar environments, even in the roughest barrios. I learned how to adapt, how to connect with people from all walks of life, and how to appreciate the beauty and diversity of our world. 

Giving Back: A Mission of Service 

My travels weren't just about personal exploration. I recognized the same struggles I faced in communities around the world. In 2019, I had the privilege of feeding over 250 underprivileged children in the Philippines . This experience solidified my commitment to giving back, particularly to children and the elderly in areas affected by poverty. 

Challenging the "Passport Bro" Narrative 

Initially, I was intrigued by the "Passport Bro" movement. I saw it as a positive example of Black men exploring the world. However, I quickly became disillusioned by the darker side of this trend. I witnessed firsthand the disrespect for local cultures, the promotion of prostitution, the exploitation of vulnerable women, and the scams perpetrated on followers. I saw Black men misrepresenting our community and damaging the reputation of those of us who travel with respect and integrity. 

A New Movement: Respect, Responsibility, and Empowerment 

This is why, in 2025, I'm launching my YouTube channel and building a new movement. It's a movement built on:

• Respect: Respect for ourselves, respect for women, and respect for the cultures and countries we visit.

• Responsibility: Taking ownership of our actions and representing the Black community positively.

• Empowerment: Providing resources and support for Black men seeking self-improvement, financial literacy, and opportunities to invest abroad. We will teach how to make the US dollar stretch further, creating financial freedom and options.

• Community Building: Creating a network of like-minded individuals who want to travel ethically, learn from each other, and build something powerful together.

• Exposing negative activity: I will continue to expose activity that is damaging.

My Vision 

My vision is to create a global network of Black men who are committed to positive change. We will be ambassadors of respect, champions of empowerment, and builders of bridges between cultures. We will leverage the power of travel, not for exploitation, but for personal growth, community upliftment, and the creation of a lasting legacy.
